The Emergency Room Department (ER) at Henry Ford Medical Center - Cottage is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is ready for any emergency, sees patients faster than most ERs, and is able to treat very serious and even life-threatening concerns, right in your own backyard.

Henry Ford Medical Center - Cottage's ER is staffed by board-certified Henry Ford Medical Group emergency medicine physicians and nursing staff who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support with specialized emergency training. Most of our care providers have worked in very busy ERs, including Henry Ford Hospital's Level 1 Trauma Center.

The ER is prepared to care for patients with the most severe illnesses and injuries including:

• Chest pain
• Injuries
• Obstetrics and gynecology
• Pediatrics
• Stroke

Patients cared for at our ER are seen very quickly and in most cases are in and out within a short period of time.
